Conclusion
It's hard to believe that there are only twenty day left for this semester. This semester in L8T class, I have learned a lot. Besides the English part, we also worked on the computer. It is not just an ESL class, but compared to the English class, it is as helpful as the regular class.
In this class, we wrote many essays, and literary logs, and the book reports. My accomplishment for literary skill improved obviously. This class is very different from the ESL classes I took before. We did many assignments in the class, and made our own homepage to put our works up. To work in the internet is a new trial for me. I never knew that to own a homepage, to explore in the internet can provide that much fun.
To work in the internet is most interesting part for me. I learned much knowledge about computer in this semester, such as how to create and e-mail account and build a homepage. Before, I wasn't interested in computer because I didn't know anything about it, and nobody taught me that. But in L8T class, since to work in the internet is part of our assignments, I had to spend time on it. And if I don't know about it, I have many class mate as for help. Now, I am planning to make another homepage and make it more interesting than the school webfolio
Since we need to take English Regent in June in order to graduate from high school, Ms. Huck gave the regent tasks to help us prepare for the test. In task one, we did the listening part; we learn how to take notes while listening. In task two, we did the reading part, and learn how to make an outline to write the reaction more clear. I think it is very helpful for me, I know that I am going to take the new Regent exam, and I am not familiar for the exam, and don't know how to prepare for it. The exercises Ms.Huck provide help me recognize the difficulty of the exam, and improve my listening, reading, and writing skill significantly. It made me have more confidence to take the exam, and hopefully to pass it.
Although I have improved a lot, my grammar skill and listening skills are still so poor. I think these will effect my grade on the Regent Exam, and I will take more time to work on them. In here, I should thank you to my teacher Ms.Huck. she really cares about us, and really spends her time to help us. I appreciate her help.
